A podcast episode is an audio recording that you can listen
to on your computer or portable digital media player, such as an iPod. At Ridgecrest UMC, we record each of Pastor LaShure’s weekly sermons and place them on our web server
as a podcast episode.
To have episodes
delivered automatically each week, choose a free
subscription option below. You can subscribe through iTunes,
My Yahoo!, or by adding our URL to your podcast
receiver. You may also download just the episodes you're interested in
without subscribing.

There are several ways to listen to
Ridgecrest UMC podcasts:
1. Subscribe to all episodes
When you subscribe,
new episodes can be downloaded to your computer or listed on your
personalized webpage automatically. There are two subscription options:
- iTunes. If
you use Apple's free media software, click the
 button below to subscribe. Then, each
time you launch iTunes, it will check to see if a new podcast is
available, and download any new episodes. To delete an episode,
highlight the episode title in your iTunes
library and click Delete. To unsubscribe, delete the podcast title from your iTunes
"podcasts" menu. To download iTunes, visit the iTunes website.
- My Yahoo! If you have a personalized news page through Yahoo!'s free RSS service, click the
 button below to subscribe. Ridgecrest
UMC podcasts will then appear on your My Yahoo!
podcast menu, which will be updated each time
a new episode is available. New episodes will not be downloaded
to your computer automatically, however. You must click the link in your
My Yahoo! podcast menu to download an episode.
- Other software
and services. In addition to iTunes and My Yahoo! you'll find a variety of free podcasting software available on the Web (such as Juice, for example),
along with several Web-based services that support podcast
subscriptions. Subscription methods vary, but you can usually subscribe
by clicking the
 button below, or by entering the podcast URL. Most podcasting
software and services will automatically check for new episodes each
time you use them.
2. Listen to individual episodes
You can also listen to individual podcast episodes without subscribing:

Click on Sounds
of Worship on the navigation bar to the left of this page.

Click on the  button at the top left of the Sounds of Worship page.
3.
Choose the
episode you want to hear by clicking on the link. Note that each episode also
has a link to the scriptural reference as read by the Worship Leader..
